Trains

Trains connect and disconnect us from peoples and places and have facilitated mass travel for many years having a deep social and economic impact on the UK. This set of resources examines trains as objects that have brought great change and captured the imagination demonstrated in the various ways they are presented in film and literature. Learners are also invited to reflect on the environmental impact of trains and their role in building our future.
